Here are six simple and very important tools you need to know and have to learn before you master photoshop. Starting with the brush tool, pencil tool, Eraser Tool, Paint Bucket Tool, Gradient Tool, Text Tool each tool has its own role to play in Photoshop

You can change the font size, color and other text properties using the options bar at the top of the window. When the text tool is active, you can move the cursor outside the text area. The cursor will change to insert the "text" cursor to move the "cursor, and you will be able to move the text layer around.
It should be noted that when the text tool active, you can not use keyboard shortcuts to access other tools.
