Layers of Photoshop?
When I open a file (photo) This is set as background in the layers palette. Then, when I create another image (thus adding to layer) which provides that background image. How do I add images to the layers palette?? For example, I have a picture of my backyard. Also I have a photo of a bush. I want to have the court as "substantive" locked. Then I would add the mount on top of the fund. But when I open the file Bush's default background and my backyard fades into oblivion. I have read two books and saw a DVD. They all have images in the layers palette to start and continue from there. The problem is that she never showed how they got the photos there in the first place. Ideas? Please explain as if I was 7 years old. I tried everything. Open the two images separately … Then … Click and hold on one image, and drag the mouse over the other photo and "liberation" … This will create a new layer with the second image. If you do not want a background image, but a separate layer opened, go simpy in the box at the bottom right showing the layers … Click the "background layer" and select "Duplicate layer" … The fund will be doubled and that be called "background copy" … You can then delete the original background, or even erased with the eraser tool.
